Freedom Environmental is 100% veteran owned. President Mark Mekelburg is a veteran of the US Marine Corps, with experience managing coastal projects from start to finish. Vice President Brett Fitzgerald is an US Army veteran who has experience running conservation non-profits which completed multi-million dollar restoration projects. Both owners are avid outdoorsmen who appreciate the balance between growth and protecting coastal habitats.
